The Jersey City - Newark UASI is a collaborative multi-jurisdictional, multi-disciplinary initiative whose mission is to enhance regional capabilities and capacities within the Northern New Jersey to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from threats or acts of terrorism.

By registering and becoming a partner in the Jersey City-Newark Urban Area Initiative you will be notified of upcoming trainings, events and relevant information to your discipline. If eligible, you may be asked to participate in planning and working group sessions that inform regional policy and operational concepts.

Law Enforcement / Intel Registration This section is for sworn law enforcement officers OR those in an official law enforcement capacity. Register to receive specialized law enforcement training announcements, bulletins and pass throughs and access to authorized workgroups.

Schools Registration This section is for schools and higher education organizations. Register to receive specialized training announcements, bulletins and pass throughs and access to authorized workgroups.

Private Sector Registration This section is for private sector organizations and critical infrastructure facilities. Register to receive specialized training announcements, bulletins and pass throughs and access to authorized workgroups.

Fire Registration This section is for Fire Departments, HAZMAT, DECON, and MUSAR. Register to receive specialized training announcements, bulletins and pass throughs and access to authorized workgroups.

Hospitals, EMS & Public Health Registration This section is for emergency medical, public health and hospitals. Register to receive specialized training announcements, bulletins and pass throughs and access to authorized workgroups.
